AV & Broadcast Coordinator
Reports to – Game Presentation Manager
Zawyer Sports & Entertainment is seeking an AV & Broadcast Coordinator. This position will be responsible for providing support for Production Control Rooms through managing staff, set up and breakdown of equipment. In addition, this position will be responsible for building out control rooms, purchasing equipment, & working with buildings to ensure that production and broadcasting needs are met.
AV & Broadcasting Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate work knowledge of Daktronics (Display Studio/Content Studio/ All Sport), Mira and 3Play replay systems, Xpression, cameras and other game day production systems and equipment.
- Oversee set-up/breakdown, testing operations, troubleshooting production equipment.
- Supervise and support control room staff on site-in in Jacksonville and remotely for all Zawyer Sports markets.
- Lead installation and integration of new technology with control rooms as needed
- Maintain equipment inventory and recommend upgrades or replacements are needed
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of control room equipment and portable equipment.
- Working knowledge of building, improving, and maintaining control rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Administration Responsibilities:
- Scheduling or approving game day production & talent staff across all markets for Zawyer Sports.
- Process payroll for all game day production & talent staff across all markets for Zawyer Sports.
- Create pre-event cost estimates & final invoices for clients
- Hire, onboard, train, manage and evaluate production staff across all markets of Zawyer Sports.
- Develop standard operating procedures for the control room and game day production staff.
- Travel to various markets to support events, evaluate operations, and implement improvements.
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 Years of experience in Broadcasting, Live Production, Control Room Operations.
- Working knowledge of production systems, such as but not limited to Video Switchers, Daktronics, Replay Systems, Xpression, etc.
- Experience with a multi-camera live production
- The ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event scheduled
- Travel – up to 50%
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 lbs.
