Volunteer & Alumni Engagement Intern
Position Summary
The Volunteer & Alumni Engagement Intern will support efforts to build, manage, and grow
relationships with volunteers and alumni. This role is ideal for a highly organized and people-oriented
individual interested in community building, relationship management, and organizational
development. The intern will help strengthen engagement, increase participation, and support
programs that connect alumni and volunteers to the organization’s mission and impact.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in managing volunteer and alumni databases and contact lists
● Support outreach, communication, and engagement efforts
● Help coordinate volunteer scheduling, onboarding, and event participation
● Assist in planning and executing alumni and volunteer events
● Support communications, including emails, newsletters, and updates
● Track engagement, attendance, and participation metrics
● Help collect feedback and testimonials from volunteers and alumni
● Assist with recognition, appreciation, and stewardship initiatives
● Support internal coordination between departments
● Maintain organized records and engagement materials
